After studying engraving, she developed her own style by refining her glassblowing techniques in various locations, including the Pilchuck Glass School in Seattle.

She has won awards at International Jewelery Exhibitions and Japan Craft Exhibitions. Her collections are also held in museums overseas.

After 30 years of presenting her work in Japan and abroad, she continues to pursue her unique sensibility with a high level of skill and expression, and is always at the forefront of the art world.

 

Born 1961, started blowing glass in 1980 and studied at the Pilchuck Glass School in the USA. Later established the studio ARTHOLlC with friends. She has been involved in running the Mima workshop and GLASSWORK magazine, and has lived in the Czech Republic since 1992. After a long break in production, she started working again after a symposium in Slovakia in 1995. Currently works mainly with beaded jewelery. Her unique and charming style attracts many fans across generations and genres.
