Born 1966, Gifu Prefecture, Japan. Artist and woodworker. After graduating from the wood craft department of Gifu Prefectural Takayama Technical College, he established Ifuzi Furniture Studio in Gujo Hachiman in 2003, and in 2009 opened LABORATORIO, a café and gallery in a former pharmacy building built in 1933, and the BOX SHOP, which sells wooden products, and moved the studio to Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture. In 2018, he opened MARKT LABORATORIO and MARKT+ in Matsumoto City.
