The act of imagining
"I think, therefore I am." The work always informs us that we are human beings that exist in this world through the act of "imagination."
Asako Shiraki's work is an "act" that expresses the act of "imagining" through the shape of a tree.
It goes beyond the individual and leads to an approach to universal human behavior that we all can sympathize with. Therefore, when we stand in front of her work and read the title, I think the heart touches something.
The work of her, who is not esoteric, but has a moderate degree of candidness and dreams.
To the last, I head to the production with such a material called "wood" that is simple and comes straight. At the same time, it is a part of the life form that has connected us since ancient times, and it is not difficult to imagine that the emotions and new consciousness that will be moved when the author picks up the mass will be born.
At the same time, the work created by her has a quiet space just like the space itself.
Its beautiful tune that arouses and suggests action and imagination.
In 2011, I would like many people to see the scene that touches our hearts in the end of this year.
