The year 2024 begins
This year, which began with the disaster on the Noto Peninsula, has made me acutely aware of the impermanence of this world and the helplessness of humans. At the same time, when I think of the many people affected by the disaster and the surrounding events and their sorrow, I find myself resonating and trembling faintly.
There are things that can be done because we are close by, and there are things that can be done because there is some distance.
Though my power is small, I want to cherish every moment and walk through life with sensitivity. I pray for the happiness of you all.
Moreover, Gallery NAO MASAKI will be leaving its current location next early summer. The new location is yet to be determined, but we plan to hold exhibitions in February and April at this place. I would be delighted if you could visit.
